- More than 22,000 Muslims are expected to gather in downtown Baltimore over the Easter holiday weekend between March 30 and April 1 for the Islamic Circle of North America’s annual convention.
- Being held for the 4th time at the Baltimore Convention Center, this is the 43rd annual mass Muslims gathering known as ICNA-Mas Convention themed “50 Years: Sharing Islam, Serving Humanity.”
- ICNA-Mas Convention aims to provide an “atmosphere that is energized by unified praise and worship of One God by offering a variety of programs by many renowned world speakers which depict solid Islamic teaching,” described the group’s website.
- Activities of the event aim to provide help to the Muslim community including matrimonial matchmaking to help single Muslims find the right matches. Sessions also include, a job fair, a blood drive-partnered with the Red Cross, a special ethnic sessions and counsel with immigration lawyers.
